LaurelLaurel Eddy : Office Manager
Having worked at all three locations of Gardner & Hydrick and Leesburg animal hospital, over a 10 year span, Laurel Eddy is a familiar face to all our clients. Laurel is the first person clients see as they walk in our door. She is responsible for communicating with clients as to their status and when they are to be discharged.

Currently Laurel is enrolled at Darton College studying for her degree in business management. She is married to Robert Eddy who has two daugthers ages seven and nine. Laurel has 3 dogs, Romeo, Charlie and Vince Dooley, and a cat named Roger.

PrentissPrentiss Colbert
Working as a small animal veterinary assistant in the field for six years at four different practices has given Prentiss Colbert the experience to deal with dogs and cats of all types. Prentiss assists Dr. Haley in the exam rooms to help calm and restrain nervous animals while also explaining many of the necessary procedures to the clients. She also serves as surgey/anesthesia assistant, runs all the in house lab work, and communicates with clients about the status of patients who are in need of hospitalization.

Prentiss joined the Leesburg Animal Hospital practice in March of 2007 after moving to the Albany area to be closer to her fiance, David Greene, and his three children Allison, Ashley, and Shawn. Prentiss has two children, Nichole 23 and Samuel 14, of her own and hopes to be a grandmother soon.

GeorgetteGeorgette Fore
This is Georgette, our head animal care taker at Leesburg Animal Hospital. Georgette graduated from Lee County High School. Raising Chihuahuas is a hobby of hers, and she has two of her own, Brandy and Rooster.

A native of Leesburg, Georgette has been with the hospital since June of 2007. Her duties are to care for the animals admitted to the hospital and to make sure they are comfortable and maintained in a clean enviroment during their stay.

Georgette says the experiences of working at the clinic "brightens her day." "Without the animals it would just be another job, but they make it all worth the hard work. At the end of the day I am glad I work with people who share my love for animals."

MindyMindy Thigpen
Mindy Thigpen is a 2008 graduate of Lee County High School. Mindy joined Leesburg Animal Hospital in January of 2006 through a work study program with the high school. After graduation, Mindy became a full time employee and now manages the boarding facility. Mindy's responsibilities includes making sure all animals receive their daily medications, are fed the proper diets, and are walked or allowed their playtime in our designated areas.
Mindy resides in Leesburg with her parents and her two dogs Chance and Eli.

MartinMartin Clark
Martin Clark is the newest employee at Leesburg Animal Hospital. Martin was the Salutatorian of the 2008 class at Albany High School. Currently he is attending Darton College and plans to transfer to the University of Georgia where he will major in Biology. Martin is undecided whether he will apply to dental school or veterinary school. He heads up our online ordering department. Once orders are placed you will receive a confirmation phone call from him. Martin has one dog, Dixie, a 9 year old chocolate lab.
