Equine Medicine

Dr. Haley Hydrick is the on call veterinarian for Gardner & Hydrick of Albany and Sylvester as well as Leesburg Animal Hospital. Some of Dr. Haley's services are preventative medicine, castrations, diagnosis and treatment of various skin, respiratory and opthalmic conditions, lameness exams, routine vaccinations, laceration repair and wound care. Her primary area of interest is in Equine reproduction where she performs palpations and ultrasounds of mares for ovulation timing and artificial insemination. Other reproductive services available are uterine cultures and sensitivities, cytologies, and biopsies. All of the reproductive work and any overnight care of horses is performed at Dr. Hydrick's farm 15 minutes south of Albany.
